Carrie Freda Balaskey
CRAB ORCHARD - Carrie Freda Balaskey, 78, of Crab Orchard, formerly of Prosperity, died July 12, 1998, in a Beckley hospital after a short illness.
Surviving: son, Jack E. Cozart of Crab Orchard; brother, Grove Cozart of Crab Orchard; sister, Alice Ross of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today in Canaday Cemetery, Glen View, with the Rev. Dean Adams officiating. Melton Mortuary, Beckley, is in charge of arrangements.
