  The Charleston Daily Mail, 15 March 1966 EAST RAINELLE - A Kieffer, Greenbrier County, resident, Mrs. Alice Alpha Remley, 79, died Monday in Greenbrier Valley Hospital at Ronceverte. Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Lillian Deitz of Rupert, Mrs. Eugene Burns of Clintonville; sons Elmer and James of Kieffer; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Scruggs of Kieffer, Mrs. Mattie King and Mrs. Mae Hunter of Rupert; half-sister, Mrs. Annie Sanford of East Rainelle; brothers, Grant Crane of Rupert, Loman Crane of Elton, Billy Crane of Montgomery; half-brother, Wade Crane [HUNTER] of East Rainelle; 11 grandchildren. The body is at Nickell Funeral Home here. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Beaver Creek Baptist Church at Kieffer by the Rev. Leroy Crane and the Rev. J. H. Quesenberry.
