  Beckley Post-Herald, Wednesday, 20 March 1940 MUNCY FUNERAL SET FOR TODAY Aged Oak Hill Man Will Be Buried In Chestnut Grove Cemetery OAK HILL, March 19 - Funeral services for George Bennett Muncy, 80-year-old Oak Hill resident, who died at his home here yesterday of old age complications, will be held at the Tyree Funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. C. S. Donnelly, pastor of the Oak Hill Baptist church, will officiate, and interment will follow in the Chestnut Grove cemetery. The aged local resident, a member of the Baptist church, was born in Floyd County, Virginia, in 1861. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Cora Wright and Mrs. Bennett Muncy, of Oak Hill; and Brammer Muncy, of Beckley; three sisters, Mrs. Meranda Brammer, of Mabscott; Mrs. Callie Sissons, of Akron, Ohio; and Mrs. Emmalene Board, of Basham, Virginia; and one brother, Merritt Muncy, of Akron, Ohio.
