Paul Walkup Paul William "Bud" Walkup, 70, of Bend, Ore., died Monday at his home. Born in Willowton, he was a son of the late Carl T. and Annie Hale Walkup. He was a member of the Willowton Christian Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Betty Walkup; daughters, Mrs. Linda Blackwell, Mrs. Rita Wolfersperger and Mrs. Sandra Dotson of Bend; sisters, Mrs. Mable Chaspasco, Mrs. Clara Arnold and Mrs. Helen Worley of Princeton; brothers, Lawrence Walkup of Narrows, Va., and Carl Walkup of Princeton; eight grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Niswonger and Reynolds Funeral Home in Bend, Ore. Burial will be in Bend. Information was submitted by Davis Funeral Home in Oakvale.
