Lantie P. McClung, 72, of South Charleston, formerly of Nicholas County, died April 7, 2000, in Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a short illness. He was a Methodist, a former employee of Saul's Auto Sales, South Charleston, and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving: son, Allen Adkins of South Charleston; stepson, Mike Davis of Dunbar; stepdaughter, Susie Hall of Dunbar; sisters, Anna Lee Boone of Craigsville, Helen O'Dell of Summersville; granddaughter, Alyssa Adkins; three stepgrandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White Funeral Home, Summersville, with the Rev. Clay O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Nettie. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
