  The Charleston Daily Mail, Monday, 27 January 1964 OAK HILL - Harold Franklin (Buster) Smith, 53, of Marfrance, Greenbrier County, died yesterday in a Beckley hospital after a short illness. He was a disabled miner. Surviving: wife, Marie; sons, Harold, Darrel, Wayne, Don and Tony of Marfrance; daughters, Mrs. Lois Moser and Linda Smith of Baltimore, Miss Ethel Smith of Riverdale, Md., and Loretta, Joan, Sherry and Delores at home; mother, Mrs. Annie Rakes of Toledo, Ohio; brother, James Phipps of Toledo; sisters, Mrs. Elsie Grinell or Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Myrtle Burnette, Mrs. Margie Cadognoe and Mrs. Margaret Pethtel of Toledo. Service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Tyree Funeral Home at Oak Hill by the Rev. Ernest Barley. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.
