ARLINGTON. Va. - Mrs. Lorena E. Jeter, 70, of Arlington, formerly of Rainelle, W.Va., died Thursday in an Alexandria hospital after a short illness.
She was a member of the Baptist Church in Alexandria, a World War II veteran, a member of the Eastern Stars, and a retired secretary from American Road Builders Assn. in Washington, D.C.
Surviving: sons, Charles of Arlington, Allen of New York, N.Y.; brother, Bill Morrison of Lawrenceville, Ill.; sisters, Miss Ann Morrison of Charleston, W.Va., Mrs. Blanche Hopkins of Logan, W.Va., Mrs. Margaret A. Garner and Mrs. Fonda Moran, both of Lewisburg, W.Va.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, W.Va.. with the Rev. Thomas Apperson and the Rev. Harold Elmore officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at McCraw Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
