  The Charleston Gazette, 17 August 1988 MRS. FLOSSIE MARTIN, 80, OF SUN, Fayette County, died Aug. 15, 1988, in Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, after a long illness. She attended Sun Baptist Church. Surviving: sons, Robert of Morningside, Md., Phillip of Clinton, Md., Roger of Morgantown, Ind., Paul and Timothy, both of Dothan; daughters, Harriett Matthews of Brown County, Ind., Dorothy Griner of Indianapolis, Ind., Judy Southall of Stevensville, Md., Deborah Ellison of Sun; sisters, Sylvia Fleshman and Alice Haga, both of Crab Orchard, Lola Kessler of Sophia; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Private service for family members only will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
