SCOTTSVILLE - Robert L. Steinberger, 69, of Scottsville died at 4:05 a.m. Sept. 17, 2006, at Lapeer Regional Hospital in Lapeer, Mich.
The Detroit native was an Air Force veteran, a member of the American Veterans and a retired employee of General Motors in Detroit. He was a son of the late Lee Steinberger and Reta Crane Steinberger.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Cross Missionary Baptist Church, where he attended, with burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery. Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Goad Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Steinberger of Attica, Mich.; a son, Robert Lee ?Bobby? Steinberger of Attica; a brother, George Steinberger and his wife, Martha, of Scottsville; special friends who were as close as brothers, Ed Hicks and his wife, Allyne, and Jimmy Harston, all of Scottsville; and several nieces and nephews.
