  The Charleston Gazette, 10 June 1992 JOSEPH J.D. SIMMS, 17, OF Leavenworth died June 5, 1992, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Leavenworth. He was a student and a former member of Boy Scout Troop 173. Surviving: parents, Charles Clinton and Janet Louise O'Brien Simms; brother, Robert C. at home; paternal grandparents, Arby and Wanda Simms, both of Rainelle, W.Va.; maternal grandmother, Reba O'Brien of Quinwood, W.Va. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville, W.Va., with the Rev. Rick Keener officiating. There will be no visitation.
