  The Charleston Gazette, 14 June 1947 MARKS, Seth M. ? 42, of Pool, Nicholas county, died Thursday in a Charleston hospital. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Mt. Gilead Baptist church at Pool. Rev. J. Holliday will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with D. R. Simons mortuary of Summersville in charge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Zela Burr Marks; two daughters, Virginia and Roberta; two sons, Seth and William; his parents, Rev. and Mrs. I. T. Marks of Russellville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Humphrey, Charleston, and Mrs. J. C. Haynes, Morgantown; and four brothers, Spencer of Guthrie, Rev. Lon T. of Summersville, I. Thayer Marks, Charleston, and Carter B. of Russellville.
