Funeral services for Hobert Denvil ("Doc") Shawver, 45, Redwood City resident who died Sunday in a fire at a Burbank riding stables, will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. from Crosby-N. Gray Chapel, Burlingame. Shawver, a resident of 523 Poplar Avenue, was a native of West Virginia. He worked as a groom, and was employed by the Burbank stables where he met his death. Survivors include his wife, Pauline; three daughters, Sue Ellen, Redwood City; Mrs. Crolyn Barker, Mountain View, and Mrs. Charlotte Ferro, Santa Clara ; two sons, David, U.S.M.C., and James, San Jose; his mother, Mrs. H. E. Shawver, Redwood City; two brothers, Gray and Bobby, Redwood City; and Donald, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Smailes, West Virginia, and five grandchildren. The Rev. Donald P. Wertz of the South San Francisco Good News Chapel, will officiate. Interment will be at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Los Altos.
