The funeral for Mrs. Helma Lee Morris Parsons, 59, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Charleston, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Bartlett-Burdette Funeral Home here with the Rev. Dr. Asa Harris in charge.
Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park at St. Albans.
Mrs. Parsons, a ward clerk in a St. Petersburg hospital, died Monday in a Tampa, Fla., hospital after a long illness. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Charleston.
She was the widow of James L. Parsons, who was the assistant manager of the used car department at Tag Galyean in Charleston.
Survivors: son, David F. of St. Petersburg; daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Gay of Parkersburg; mother, Mrs. Caroline Morris of St. Petersburg; sister, Mrs. Delbert Weiford of Cross Lanes; brothers, Thomas Morris of Charleston, Edward M. Morris and Ernest B. Morris of Melbourne, Fla.
Friends may call at the funeral home today after 7 p.m.
