  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, 9 January 1988 Joseph Boggs, 76, of Hines, Greenbrier County, died Jan. 8, 1988, in Humana Hospital Greenbrier Valley, Fairlea, after a short illness. He was member of Hines Baptist Church. He was a retired miner Surviving: wife, Rovena Smith Boggs; daughter, Charlotte Selvey of Meadow Bluff; sons, Melvin of Fairmont, Dwayne of Falmouth, Mass. ; sisters, Mrs. Carrie Boggs of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Vera Lowe of Maxwelton; brother, Ray of Ohio; two grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Leroy Crane and the Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville.
