  Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, 24 Feb 1988 RAYMOND G. HASTINGS, 74, of Frostproof, formerly of East Bank, W.Va., died Feb. 23, 1988, in Walker Memorial Hospital, Avon Park, after a short illness. He was a member of Hampton Baptist Church, East Bank. He was a retired operator from Du Pont, Belle, W.Va. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a Mason. Surviving: wife, Myrtle B. Hastings; sisters, Gladys Stangler of Danville, Va., Virginia Roth of Portland, Ind., Sarah C. Fincher of Hernando, Fla., Louise Hoffman of Little Switzerland, N.C. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, with the Rev. Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, W.Va. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hampton Baptist Church.
