WINCHESTER, Va. — Dorothy Swogger King, 67, of Winchester, died on Saturday, June 19, 2010, in Fairfax Station, Va.
Mrs. King was born September 8, 1942, in Rupert, W.Va., a daughter of Eugene and Frances McClung Cales of Winchester, Va.
She retired as a Realtor, owning her own brokerage firm, Remax Elite in Burke, Va. Mrs. King was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Wesley Andrew Swogger and her second husband Larry King.
Surviving along with her parents are three children and their spouses Angelique Swogger and husband Mike Myers of Smithfield, Va., Wes and Lynn Swogger of Fairfax Station, Va., and Doug and Sheila Swogger of Dumfries, Va.; one sister, Deborah Wright of Winchester, Va.; seven grandchildren, Richard and Rachel Myers, Jamie, Melanie and Jake Swogger, and Josh and Joe Swogger; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Moody Roberts. Entombment will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens, Front Royal, Va.
The family will receive friends 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maddox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be family members.
