Obituary
Etta Garrett Skaggs was born at Beech Springs, Va., December 25th, 1890, and departed this life at Mildred, Kansas, April 23rd, 1914, age, 23 years and 4 months. She was married to C. A. Skaggs December 15th, 1909, at Savonburg, Kansas. She leaves a husband, one son, John Evan, and one daughter, Alpha Opal. A father, J. A. Garrett of Chanute, Kansas, two brothers, Maynard, and Walter Garrett and two sisters, Mrs. Orval Fulton of Mildred, Kansas, and Mrs. A. H. Stierwalt of Kalispel, Montana, who mourn her death. Five years ago she was converted and joined the Methodist church of Stark, Kansas. She died in the full joy of the Savior's Love. She was a good wife and a loving mother and was loved and respected by all who knew her.
