Mills, 81, of 611 North St., New Lexington, died at 9 p.m. Saturday, April 10, in Good Samaritan Medical Center following a year-long illness. She was born Nov. 13, 1900, at Pennington Gap, Va., a daughter of Don and Molly Garrett Collins and was a member of First Baptist Church in Harlan, Ky. Surviving are four sons, Layton of New Lexingon [sic], Guy of Roseville, Mich., James of North Ford, Conn. and Gerald of Williamsburg; 22 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Nell Wilder of Lexington, Ky., Mrs. Willard Cox of Pineville, Ky., and Miss Berta Reed of Port Richey, Fla. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Chute-Wiley Funeral Home in New Lexington where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William Nelson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Middlesboro Cemetery, Middlesboro, Ky., with the Rev. Joe Simpson officiating.
