June was born on December 18, 1923 in Balkan, Kentucky to the late William Martin and Mary Nell (Collins) Wilder. June wed Bennie Dann, September of 1944 and together, they celebrated 52 years of marriage until his passing on February 5, 1997. She was a Breast Cancer Survivor, an active member of Rosemont Baptist Church, and had been an active member in the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile in her earlier years. Left to cherish June is her daughter, Iris (James) Turek; grandchildren, Jimmy (Marin Fiske) and Brandon (Mandy Humston) Turek; great-granddaughter, Lilly. Visitation for June will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Wednesday, August 3rd at Milward – Southland located at 391 Southland Drive. Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Br. Eddie Benton of Rosemont Baptist Church to preside. Interment in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens will follow.
