Crookshanks Child Dies At Residence
LEWISBURG, Feb. 12 - Lonnie Crookshanks, 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Crookshanks of Cornstalk, died at his home Wednesday evening.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Alice and brother Wayman, both at home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Cold Spring Methodist Church at Cornstalk, with the Rev. Elkins and the Rev. J. F. Barber officiating.
Burial will follow in the End of the Trail Cemetery.
The body was removed from the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg to the home at 11 a.m. today. - (Medical):Treated for influenza on 2-1 and 2-3-53, was afebrile on 2-5-53, and was not seen again. According to parents he seemed well during the following week, then very suddenly expired about 4:00 p.m. on 2-11-53 without fever, cyanosis, convulsions, dyspnea or other acute episode. [2]
