Smith, 79, well-known Greenbrier County farmer, of Vago, near Lewisburg, died in the Greenbrier Valley Hospital, Ronceverte, Wednesday afternoon. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susan Smith; daughters, Mrs. Goldie Crookshanks, Rupert; Mrs. Gladys Mullins, Darlington; Mrs. Mabel M. Adams, Rising Sun, Md. and Mrs. Bertie F. Stull, Bruce; two sons, John, Frankford and Luther K. of East Rainelle; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Buck, Summersville and Mrs. Florence Jefferies, Delaware; a brother, Cecil Smith, Summerville; 24 grandchildren. The funeral service was held today in the Buckhorn Methodist Church at 2 p. m. with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
