  Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapels, Obituaries, http://www.wallaceandwallacefh.com/webcast/19252 Hildred Mae Hunter, 86, of Rainelle, passed away, Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte, WV, following a short illness. Born July 12, 1927, at Tioga, WV, she was the daughter of the late John William and Esther Cynthia Miller Jarvis. Hildred was a member of Big Sewell Baptist Church of Rainelle, and was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had worked at the Rainelle Tent Factory for over 14 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Calvin Hunter, Sr. in 1999, two sons, Kenneth and Terry Hunter, and two sisters, Mary Richardson and Mildred Jenkins. Survivors include one son: Derris Hunter & wife Amanda of Rainelle, WV; 2 sisters: Letha McHenry of Bumpass, VA and Rose Yoak of Akron, Ohio; 1 brother: Roger Jarvis of Akron, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2014 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with Rev. Kermit Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service (1 to 2PM) at the funeral home.
