RUPERT -- Gladys Carrol Gibson, 65, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea following a long illness.
Born Feb. 18, 1940, in Rupert, she was a daughter of the late Charles Scott and Gladys Eleanor Hunter Hedrick.
Mrs. Gibson worked as a sewing machinist at Kellwood and Isratech. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Clement "Bo" Gibson; two daughters, Cindy Clevenger and husband, Jerry, of Canvas and Rhonda Yoakum and husband, Chris, of Smoot; seven sons, Robert Thomas and wife, Robin, of Rupert, Marvin Hedrick and wife, Teresa, of Rupert, Junie Thomas and wife, Darla, of Rainelle, Jeff Thomas and wife, Lorrie, of Crawley, Mike Thomas and wife, Kim, of Core, Gary Kinder and wife, Ruth, of Bradenton, Fla., and Randy Gibson and wife, Lisa, of Cleveland, Ohio; four sisters, Gerry Jacobs and husband, Jerry, of Hurricane, Sandra Walkup of Rupert, Ruth Hanson and husband, Dwight, of Rupert and Debbie Deitz and husband, Gary, of Rupert; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wallace and Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Youel Altizer officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call one hour before service Saturday at the funeral home. There will be no evening visitation.
