Rites Incomplete For Frank Phipps
MEADOW BLUFF, Aug. 27 - Frank Phipps, 23, of Meadow Bluff, died in the C and O hospital, Clifton Forge, Va., Monday.
He was a tinner by trade and a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Phipps and a son, Harry Wayne, all of Meadow Bluff; four brothers: Hansford, Oregon; Euliss, Edward and Noah, all of Meadow Bluff; and seven sisters; Mrs. Effie Walkup and Gertrude Phipps, both of Meadow Bluff; Blanche Phipps, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Louise Frantz, Hillsboro, Ore.; Mrs. Frances Hizer, Rupert; Mrs. Stella Hunter, Crawley and Mrs. Margie Lowe, Marfrance.
The body will remain at Nickell Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
