Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Osborne, 80, wife of Andrew A. Osborne, died Sunday afternoon at her home at Meadow Grove.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the home with Rev. Frank Plybon officiating. Burial will be in the Jones cemetery at Vale with the Nickell mortuarty of East Rainelle in charge.

A native of Greenbrier county and a Baptist, Mrs. Osborne is survived by her husband; two sons, Clarence and J. W., both of Meadow Bluff; six daughters, Mrs. Ollie Smith of Craig; Mrs. Sadie Drennen and Mrs. Ora Callison, both of Meadow Bluff; Mrs. Bessie Hunter of East Rainelle; Mrs. Anna Fleshman of Winding Gulf and Mrs. Texie Henderson of Duo, and a brother, Henry Jones of Alderson.


Frances married Andrew A. OSBORNE, son of William OSBORNE and Sarah "Sallie" CALLISON, on 5 Feb 1880 in Greenbrier Co., WV.26 (Andrew A. OSBORNE was born on 7 Apr 1861 in Greenbrier Co., VA,518 died on 30 Jun 1951 in East Rainelle, Greenbrier Co., WV 518 and was buried on 2 Jul 1951 in End Of The Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, Greenbrier Co., WV 518.). The cause of his death was chronic myocarditis.
