CRAWLEY ? George Fostie Walkup, 75, of Crawley, died Tuesday at the Beckley Veterans Administration hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Crawley, a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church, and a retired farmer.
Surviving: wife, Evelyn Crane Walkup; daughters, Miss Bernice L. Walkup at home, Mrs. Georgia C. Scruggs of Rupert, Mrs. Ruby F. Jones and Mrs. Edna Mae Nicely both of Crawley, Mrs. Hazel I. McIntyre of Arlington, Va.; son, Delford of Rupert; brothers, Marvin of Clintonville, Mac of Crawley; 13 grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Beaver Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy Crane officiating. Burial will be in Walkup Cemetery at Kiefer.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.
