CALDWELL - Veo Williams Loomis, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at her home. Born Oct. 3, 1913, in Hughart, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rachel Kelly Williams. Mrs. Loomis was a homemaker and a member of Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Loomis; and a son, Darrell Lee Loomis. Survivors include three sons, James and his wife, Dottie, of Caldwell, Jack Loomis and his wife, Annabelle, of Ronceverte and Harold "Crow" Loomis of Ronceverte; a sister, Io Phipps of Lewisburg; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Cleveland Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral H ome, Lewisburg, or at the family residence anytime. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
