Mrs. Deitz Dies; Former Teacher

LEWISBURG ? Mrs. Andree Fullen Deitz, 83, a retired school teacher of Ronceverte, died Sunday in a Charleston hospital of complications from a hip fracture.

Mrs. Deitz lived at 3703 Washington
Ave., SE, in Charleston. She was a native of Salt Sulphur Springs, Monroe County, and had liveed much of her life in Ronceverte.

Mrs. Deitz taugt music in public schools for 40 years. She was a member of the St. Mark's Methodist Church in Charleston.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jean Bourne and Miss Edna Deitz, both of Charleston.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Trinity Methodist Church at Ronceverte with the Rev. Ronald Casto officiating and burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

The body is at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home at Lewisburg and will be taken to the church one hour before services.


Andree married Edward L. Theodore DEITZ, son of William Henry DEITZ and Emma CRANE, on 10 Sep 1907 in Greenbrier Co., WV.920 (Edward L. Theodore DEITZ was born on 11 May 1870 in Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV,922 died on 15 Mar 1941 in Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., WV 922 and was buried on 18 Mar 1941 in Riverview Cemetery, Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., WV 922.). The cause of his death was coronary thrombosis.
