BECKLEY - The funeral for Mrs. Lottie Mae Maynor, 81, of Beckley, was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Calfee Funeral Home here with the Rev. Edward Hanshaw in charge. Burial was to be in Sunset Memorial Park here.
Mrs. Maynor, a member of the First United Methodist Church, died Monday at Raleigh General Hospital here. She was a native of Fayette County.
Survivors: sons, Quincy Phipps of Kendallville, Ind., Clinton Phipps of Indianapolis, Ind., French Williams of Ceredo, Alfred Maynor of Huntington, James Maynor of Joppa, Md.; daughters, Mrs. Audrey Wahl of Fairdale, Mrs. Estelle Garrett of Fayetteville, Mrs. Bessie Williams of Charleston, Mrs. Edna Tessa of Bluefield, Mrs. Beulah Taylor of Milburn, Mrs. Beatrice Houchins of Beckley; stepdaughter, Mrs. Albert O'Neal of Beckley; sisters, Mrs. W. E. Miller of Flat Top, Mrs. Nora Harvey of Beckley.
Lottie married Walter W. PHIPPS, son of David Crockett PHIPPS and Mary Louvena MILAM, on 1 Dec 1905 in Raleigh Co., WV.171 (Walter W. PHIPPS was born on 20 Jul 1883 in Raleigh Co., WV,24,1380 died on 26 Feb 1966 in Oak Hill, Fayette Co., WV 1380 and was buried on 1 Mar 1966 in Church Of Christ Cemetery, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., WV 74.). The cause of his death was cardiac arrest.
