CLINTONVILLE \emdash Gary L. Crane, 51, passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2011, at his home, following a short illness.
Born May 19, 1959, at Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Alstin Oscar and Lillian Patton Crane.
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by a niece, Becky L. Crane.
Gary worked at several different places, including Greenbrier Hills Golf Course of Rainelle, Exxon Station at White Sulphur Springs, True Value Stores, and Heck's in Fairlea. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his siblings: Daniel A. Crane and wife, Darlene, and their daughter, Kristy, of Crawley, and Karen Crane Hinz and husband, Russell, and their son, Chad, of Clintonville.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with Pastor Mike Nutter officiating. Immediate burial will follow.
