David Roscoe Boggs, 40, of Winston-Salem, formerly of Fenwick, Nicholas County, W.Va., died Monday in Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, after a short illness. Surviving: daughters, Shona Whitley of Craisgville, W.Va., Teresa Wease of of Hawaii; son, Steven Whitley of Craigsville; parents, Roscoe and Ellanora Boggs of Fenwick; sisters, Mrs. Virginia Cook and Mrs. Shirley Bennett, of Fenwick, Mrs. Frances Barker of Weirton, W. Va., Mrs. Beulah Geer of Pionesta Pa.; brother, Dennis of Fenwick; one grandchild. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Simons-Coleman Funeral Home, Richwood, W.Va., with the Rev. Steve Thomas and the the Rev. Donald Fields officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, Fenwick Mountain. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
