ROSCOE BOGGS, 83, OF FENWICK, DIED Thursday, Sept. 15, 1994, at home after a long illness. He was a 62-year resident of Nicholas County, retired from Creighton No. 1 Coal Co., Nettie and attended New Hope Baptist Church, Fenwick. Surviving: wife, Ellanora "Crickett" Boggs; son, Dennis Ray of Fenwick; daughters, Virginia Lee Cook and Shirley Ann Bennett of Fenwick, Francis Pauline Barker of Weirton, Beulah Arlene Geer of Tionesta, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Simons-Coleman Funeral Home, Richwood, with the Rev. Donald Fields and the Rev. Jadie Morris officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, Fenwick. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
