SLATER WILSON HENSON, 80, OF Lewisburg died April 17, 1994, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, after a long illness. He was a retired postal carrier with more than 30 years service and a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church, Clintonville. Surviving: wife, Wynona; sons, Sherman L. of Anchorage, Alaska, Gene E. and Teddy D., both of Lewisburg; daughters, Carol A. Bostic of Lewisburg, Sue K. James of Roanoke, Va.; brother, Seymore of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church, Lewisburg, with the Rev. Skip Furrow and the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jack K. Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
