CARL McCLUNG, 78, OF MOUNT NEBO, Nicholas County, died Sunday at home after a long illness. He was a retired miner. Surviving: wife, Arbutus Johns McClung; daughters, Mrs. Greta Huffman and Mrs. Patricia Huffman, both of Mount Nebo, Mrs. Kay Hellms and Mrs. Nancy Altizer, both of Crichton, Mrs. Nila Jean Mullins of Charmco, Mrs. Nina Donaldson of Nettie; son, Pat "Beeb" of Jacobus, Pa.; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hilltop United Methodist. Church with the Rev. Keith Brown, the Rev. Garland Groves and the Rev. Charles Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in McClung Cemetery, Snow Hill. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at. Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
