Mary Emily Meadows Webb, 91, of Tornado, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1997, at home after a long illness. She was a Christian and a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Surviving: daughters, Aretta Lindeman of Clemont, Fla., Anita "Polly" Conn of Tornado; son, Oliver Quinton "Pete" Webb of St. Albans; sister, Melda Cadle of West Blocton, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Casdorph and Curry Funeral Home Chapel, St. Albans with the Rev. Bruce Keeling and the Rev. Benny Bess officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Mary married Guy WEBB, son of Oliver Perry WEBB and Nancy Jane "Nannie" MILAM, in 1925.1917 (Guy WEBB was born on 24 Apr 1896 in Saxon, Raleigh Co., WV 24,172 and died in Oct 1980 in Tornado, Kanawha Co., WV 55.)
