JOHN FORREST TINCHER, 87, OF Crichton, Greenbrier County, died May 6, 1987, in Summers County Hospital, Hinton, after a long illness. He was a retired miner and was a Methodist. Surviving: daughter, Betty Shawver of Crichton; sons, Jerrell of Fairfield, Calif., Leroy of Columbia, S.C., Robert of Seth, John Jr. of Peterstown; 27 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Shawver Cemetery, Corliss, with Evangelist Randy Matheny officiating. There will be no visitation. Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, is in charge of arrangements.
