Mrs. Sylvia Mary Tincher, 88, of Crichton, Greenbrier County, died Feb. 19, 1987, at Summers County Hospital, Hinton. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Rainelle. Surviving: husband, John; daughter, Betty Shawver of Crichton; sons, Jarrell of Fairfield, Calif., Leroy of Columbia, S.C., Robert of Fort Springs, and John of Ballard; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Shawver Cemetery, Corliss, with Evangelist Randy Matheny and the Rev. Rick Keener officiating. There will be no visitation. Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, is in charge of arrangements.
