Elizabeth B. Groves
A language teacher in the Nicholas County high school for the past seven years, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Groves, 58, of Summersville, died Monday in a Huntington hospital.
Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Summersville Methodist church with Rev. A. F. Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Groves cemetery at Summersville. The body will remain at the D. R. Simons mortuary until an hour before service.
Surviving are her husband, H. D. Groves; three step-daughters, Mrs. A. E. Burnside of Milton, Mrs. C. E. Zabel of Youngstown, O. and Mrs. Harold B. Hughes of Huntington; two brothers, Dr. W. P. Black of Charleston and Hollister Black of Rupert; five sisters, Mrs. W. B. Jones of Cleveland, Tenn., Mrs. S. H. Shaffer of Buckhannon, Mrs. H. M. Lawson of Columbus, O., Miss Sana Black of State College, Pa., and Miss Mary Black of Morgantown.
