Selma K. Patterson, 83, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday in a Fairlea hospital after a long illness.
Born Aug. 4, 1899 in Asbury, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Townes Williams.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Sinking Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Ruby Faye) Crane of Lewisburg; a son, Edwin Curtis Patterson of Meadow Bluff; a sister, Ada W. Patterson of Lewisburg and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel of McCraw Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
Friends may call today from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
