RAINELLE ? Buery Dairol Tincher, 79, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006 at his home following a battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 20, 1926, at Crag, he was the son of the late Buery Lacy and Alta Fleshman Tincher.
Mr. Tincher was retired from Georgia-Pacific and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Tincher.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Nellie Bragg Tincher; a son Dairol Aaron Tincher of Rainelle; a daughter, Sharon J. Lindsey and husband, Rick, of Rainelle; a brother, Eugene Tincher and wife, Delores, of Hanover, Pa.; a sister, Freda Snider and husband, Ronald, of Princeton; a grandson, Richard T. Lindsey and friend, Jennifer, of Rainelle; Christy French and Cindy Westfall, both of Ripley, who were considered granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 9, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Joe Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Tincher Cemetery, Crag.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to Greenbrier Valley Hospice, 540 N. Jefferson Street, Suite D, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
Friends may call one hour before service Thursday at the funeral home.
