Jacob N. Tincher Has Fatal Attack
RAINELLE (RNS) ? Jacob Norman Tincher, 81, died in a Bluefield hospital Friday morning. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Little Sewell Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Born at Rainelle Nov. 11, 1881, he was a son of the late Cooper and Adeline Smith Tincher.
His wife, Hettie Ann Tincher, preceded him in death.
Survivors include five sons, B. L., R. D., Clyde, Junior, all of Rainelle, and Gordon of Reedsville, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Robert McGuire of Baltimore, Md.; a foster son, Ernest Osborne of Smoot; two brothers, Simon of Rainelle and Festus Tincher of Garten; a sister, Mrs. Ora Simms of Raleigh; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Little Sewell Baptist Church at Craig with the Rev. E. W. Parks and Rev. G. C. Music in charge. Burial will be in the Tincher Cemetery at Craig.
The body will remain at Nickell Funeral Home in East Rainelle and will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral.
Jacob married Hettie Ann SIMS, daughter of Charles Andrew SIMS and Nancy Jane OSBORNE, in 1906.88 (Hettie Ann SIMS was born in Mar 1882 in Greenbrier Co., WV,13 died on 30 Sep 1962 in Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., WV 30 and was buried on 2 Oct 1962 in Tincher Cemetery, Crag, Greenbrier Co., WV 31.). The cause of her death was multiple cerebral artery thromboses, arteriosclerosis.
