Hettie A. Tincher Succumbs At 81
RAINELLE (RNS) - Mrs. Hettie Ann Tincher, 81, died Sunday at 8:30 p.m. in a Ronceverte hospital after a long illness.
She was a member of the Little Sewell Baptist Church.
Born at Rainelle, March 4, 1881, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy Osborne Sims.
Survivors include [her] husband, J. N. Tincher; a sister, Mrs. Lona Sanford of Ravenna, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Robert McGuire of Baltimore, Md.; five sons, B. L., R. D., Clyde, and Junior, all of Rainelle, and Gordon of Ridgeville, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the home of a son, B. L. Tincher of Craig, with the Rev. E. W. Parks and the Rev. G. C. Music in charge. Burial will be in the Tincher Cemetery near Craig.
The body was taken from the Nickell Funeral Home in East Rainelle to the home of the son at 6 p.m. Monday.
Hettie married Jacob Norburn TINCHER Sr., son of John Cooper TINCHER and Margaret Adeline SMITH, in 1906.88 (Jacob Norburn TINCHER Sr. was born on 11 Nov 1881 in Spring Dale, Fayette Co., WV 24,32,55 and died on 22 Feb 1963 in Bluefield, Mercer Co., WV 55,113.)
