MRS. MARY G. "GERTIE' Quick, 73, of Gauley Bridge, died March 2, 1987, in CAMC, General Division, after a short illness. She was a member of Boomer Baptist Church. Surviving: husband, Joseph C.; daughters, Mrs. Bettie Jo Lake of Stafford, Va., Mrs. Eleanor L. Kyttle of Anniston, Ala., Mrs. Margaret Barnhill of Glennville, Ga.; brothers, Ray Hunter and Robert Hunter, both of Kieffer, Roy Hunter of Meadowbluff, Carl Hunter of Rupert; foster brother, Kirby Blankenship of Kieffer; sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hedrick of Kessler, Mrs. Margie Walkup of Crawley, Mrs. Ruth Larur, Mrs. Gaye Eilts and Mrs. Jackie Eilts, all of Wabash, Ind.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Combs-Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, with the Rev. Charles S. McChesney officiating. Burial will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
