ELMER DALE TYREE, 51, OF LAKE, LOGAN County, died Thursday, July 28, 1988, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness. He was a dispatcher for Winn Dixie. He was a Protestant and a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving: wife, Lovie Gay Tyree; son, Gerry of Marathon, Fla .; daughter, Vickie Tyree of Greenville, S.C.; sisters, Mina Rhodes of Kenna, Shirley Tippie and Barbara Belcher, of Charleston; brothers, Clifford of Rochester, N.Y., Ray of Titusville, Fla., Richard of Tyler Mountain, George of Charleston; two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Charleston, is in charge of arrangements.
