George W. Tyree, 66, of 823 Kanawha Turnpike, died last night in a Charleston hospital after a long illness. He was a carpenter-contractor.

Surviving are six sons, Virgil of Elkview, Ray, Clifford, Richard, Dale and Harmon, all of South Charleston; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Young, Mrs. Mina Lee Dye, both of Charleston, and Shirley and Barbara, both of South Charleston, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Christian of Beckley.

The body is at Long-Johnson-Fisher mortuary.

The cause of her death was acute yellow atrophy liver due to having 24 children.
